Context
Mi! was a consumer marketplace connecting people with local experiences in Mexico City. The market was fragmented — most transactions happened through WhatsApp and word of mouth. No platform owned the space.
Challenge
Two-sided marketplace cold start. We needed supply (experiences) to attract demand (users), but creators wouldn't join without proof of demand. Plus, the booking flow had to be simpler than just messaging someone on Instagram.
What we did
Built and scaled the marketplace from zero — roadmap, backlog, feature delivery, and go-to-market
Coordinated engineering, design, and business stakeholders
Owned the full product lifecycle from discovery to retention
Ran localized growth strategies to build density in specific neighborhoods
