Co-founded and scaled an experiences marketplace in Mexico City from zero to 10,000+ listings and 250,000 monthly users.

Context

Mi! was a consumer marketplace connecting people with local experiences in Mexico City. The market was fragmented — most transactions happened through WhatsApp and word of mouth. No platform owned the space.

Challenge

Two-sided marketplace cold start. We needed supply (experiences) to attract demand (users), but creators wouldn't join without proof of demand. Plus, the booking flow had to be simpler than just messaging someone on Instagram.
