Grido ↗
Founding Team, Product & Operations
Built EV charging infrastructure from the ground up — 1,000+ deployed devices and partnerships with Uber Jump, Lime, Bird, and Rivian.
Context
Micro-mobility was booming but most operators were burning cash without solving operational fundamentals — fleet maintenance, charging logistics, and city compliance. We started Grido with the thesis that operational discipline could compete against well-funded incumbents.
Challenge
EV charging infrastructure is a hardware + operations problem. Devices break, cities change regulations, and partners demand reliability. We had to build systems for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance — all on a startup budget.
What we did
Helped build EV charging infrastructure and supporting platform integrations
Worked with engineering teams on system improvements and partner-facing operations
Supported rollout with major mobility partners (Uber Jump, Lime, Bird, Rivian)
Built operational processes for device deployment and maintenance at scale
Results
1,000+ devices
Deployed across partner networks
4 major partners
Uber Jump, Lime, Bird, and Rivian
Ground up
Infrastructure built from zero
Takeaways
Hardware businesses live and die by operations. The tech is the easy part
Partner integrations at scale require productized onboarding, not custom work
City compliance is a competitive moat that most startups ignore
